HERSTORY HEALTH PROJECT DELIVERS PRESENTATION AT MIDWEST CONFERENCE OF WOMEN AND GENDER HISTORIANS

Herstory Health Project members Mardge Cohen, Kathy Mallin, Coral Norris and Estelle Carol presented a history of the CWLU's health activism in Chicago on June 12th at Loyola University.

Using PowerPoint to show historic photos and leaflets, the 4 women were able to convey a uncover a lot of previously hidden history in 40 minutes. Attendance was small, but Health project members hope to use the experience to edit the PowerPoint show so it can be available for groups and classes. Read on...

As you probably know, many of the classic Chicago Women's Graphics Collective images are now available again on the CWLU Herstory website. However, visitors to the site must download a form and mail it in with their payment.

We now have an online shopping cart with credit card ordering , but we need you to look it over and test it before it goes "public". Please visit http://www.cwluherstory.org/CWLUMarket/ccp51/ and then tell us what you think. You may use the "Contact Us" web form on the site or e-mail infogal@cwluherstory.org Please alert us to any typos or factual errors you find. Let us know if you find anything confusing or if something does not work as you expect.

The CWLU Herstory Project is now reissuing reproductions of 17 selected Women's Graphics Collective posters in its new fundraising campaign. We're selling the posters AND offering them as premiums with membership in Herstory Project. Each poster is digitally printed using archival quality materials as orders are received.

There's still time to place your order for the holidays. In addition to poster reprints in 3 sizes, we have poster images on refrigerator magnets and t-shirts.
